Validate Users Address, Beat Fraud

Fraudulent activities in the digital world are rampant. This is because people can claim themselves to be whoever they want to be, and people will believe them.

To combat this, businesses, especially in the fintech sector, need to upgrade their e-KYC capabilities. This includes the capability to verify if users actual address matches what they claim to be.

That's why Brick is launching a new feature: address verification API. Through collaboration with our partners, we can cross check the user's claimed address with their actual telecommunication activities data.

This feature is now available for users using Telkomsel but we will soon expand to include other telecommunication providers.

How does it work?

• Businesses collect users' claimed home and office address as well as their phone number.
• Then, businesses can make a request to our API by providing this data.
• Our system will match their claimed address with their actual telco activities.
• Our API returns a range from 0 to 100% depending on how their actual activities matched their claimed home and office address.

Businesses can set their own threshold. And proceed to label the address as valid when the actual activities % meets their threshold.
